Psychic detective encourages fraud on her forum

Please note all this took place prior to the change of the fraudulent mediumship act, now if you dont think this matters because the law has changed..just think about it, If she allows this when the law could be broken, what now will she allow wheen the laws are more lax?

Now before we begin this report no doubt many people out there will say "But it was others who have said this not her" Just think about it. This person is a regular visitor of her own forum, she has made the people giving fraudulent advice Senior members of that forum. Apart from the atrocities she herself has committed in her own development class with their students. Responsibility lays squarely on this "Psychic Detectives" shoulders!
The easiest and most understandable way of adding this report to this page is to simply transcript out takes from the forum itself (Of which we have saved copies of that entire page to our vaults) and to state as facts how they are indeed fraudulent.

A forum member asked a very genuine and important question."Does anyone know anything about this? I am concerned that if I give a reading to someone, but do not state that it is for entertainment purposes but I am not associated with a church or 'spiritualist' centre, that I am breaking the law.Answer from senior forum member"What law could you have broken???"

A second answer to the members question was kindly given. "You most certainly do NOT have to belong to a spiritualist church to give readings. Why should you ?

Third answer given to the member. "Your medium/psychic spirituality is a gift that isn't born of going to church. Church doesn't teach you - nor does anyone else, and what you are doing is learning to develop and hopefully give messages in a sympathetic and caring way. This I know you would do.
Our Answer- If you are giving a reading but not in the form of a spiritualist medium and acting within that religious role, you are breaking the 1951 fraudulent mediumship act, that is a fact! A tad worrying really isn't it that a senior member of a forum is asking what law has been broken! Not knowing the member who asked this question we cannot doubt there sincerity. And we are sure they are indeed giving a message in a sympathetic and caring way. But the member asked if they are breaking the law. the answer should have been. Yes!
And regarding being trained by the church, we are afraid that to act within a mediumship role you should be serving a spiritualist church, following its practice and in turn would have been trained by the church!

Another question was asked by another forum member. Remember these people are asking advice on a forum of people they trust, on the backing of this being a supposedly respected psychic detectives forum!
The Question "I never state it is for entertainment purposes - but I do state that people must be over 18 to have a reading.
The all knowledgeable responses from senior members of that forum were...
First answer "When I do readings - I am happier doing links with spirit and bringing loved ones and pets through. However I do explain before we start - that nothing is guaranteed, I can only speak to those who want to come forward. I also explain that I can only give them what I am seeing, hearing and feeling.
Second answer and this is from a senior member who has there own website!" Fraudulent mediums are those that purport to be a top notch medium/psychic/clairvoyant etc and have no skills whatsoever. These are called 'cold readings'
Our Answer- If you are not serving as a spiritualist medium and profiting from the reading you have to by law state that it is for entertainment purposes only. Whether you purport you are a top notch medium or not, whether you are or not is irrelevant. Whether you state there are no guarantees or not again this is irrelevant! This is another forum member asking a simple question, and the senior members haven't the foggiest!
But read on, how can you blame the senior forum members of this Psychic detective when she herself is blatantly breaking the fraudulent mediumship act and allowing her own students to be physically harmed in her classes. read on....
On another occasion members were talking about a training day they took part in with this TV Psychic detective person. It is actually quite scary what we read.
Post Onewe done a new experiment of ******* it was absolutely amazing has anyone used a Ouija well we did that but the best part was when everyone in the class that day got to be a human Ouija board it was amazing the results we got they pushed each and every person with a letter to spell out a message and pushed those holding yes and no iconsPost Two******* human Ouija board was excellent!! Poor old Darren must be covered in bruises!!
Our response -Now let's get this right. This Psychic detective in a supposed psychic development class was using her own students as a Ouija board? A device which then comes under the category of a psychic tool as it is a device. something the spiritualist religion itself is very much against! but also using her students as bait for spirit? To push and shove to the point of bruising?
Are alarm bells ringing with anyone out there yet? Not only is this woman breaking every rule in the book not to mention the fraudulent mediumship act, she is mixing psychic with mediumship but is allowing her students to be used as bait, to the point of bruising?
Post made by another Senior member of this Psychic detectives forum.I had 6 children queuing up for readings with me today. It was lovely and all they wanted to know was whether they were going to be rich Or married with children But what I actually gave them was help in finding their spirit guide and a bit about their past life regression.
Our Response -There are laws actually protecting children regarding this type of thing. Every single one was broken by this person. The spiritualist religion itself sets in place that no one under the age of 18 is allowed to receive a reading from spirit, and only then it is allowed if given to there parent, guardian that is sitting with them and under there supervision. Religious teachings can only be given or the child taking part if given permission by their legal guardian and only in the practice of religious practice of their faiths development.
I love having children and one amused me no end. She and her parents used to go to Newton Abbot Spiritualist church where I went for a while but didn't find it welcoming I asked her whether she still went there and she said 'no.' I asked herwhy and she told me that she got fed up because she never had a message come through for her 12 going on 62 I think
Our response- No she would not have received a message and quite right too, because if she had, the medium in question and the church allowing this would have been breaking the law of the land and its own laws and practices. Not to mention Self responsibility.
Conclusion:
Apart from that, time and time again senior members of this woman's forum are allowed to constantly give incorrect and fraudulent advice is extremely worrying. what is absolute horrific is this same woman who's forum this is, who many see on their TV screens is actually breaking the law herself and allowing her students affectively to be used as spiritual punch bags. You think this is an extreme statement. Think about it, if you were to gently nudge another, how would they receive bruises?
This woman is allowing this, instigating this and profiting in so many ways by all this. We have much more that will be divulged and submitted over the next few weeks. No names are being mentioned but we are sure you will know of whom we speak. The reasons names are not being divulged is because the evidence we have collated, much more than even has been transcribed here will be whisking its way to the relevant authorities and TV companies who promote this individual. We will keep you updated as and when!
It is an awful shame that individuals like this are allowed to do what they do and acting in this fashion, when there are more responsible and experienced mediums and psychic out there who would not even consider such fraudulent and vile behaviour themselves!

I'm enjoying the site very much.
This is picky;but being a commentor on an international website myself, I can't help but notice that when posters do not use "their"..as in "their org", and instead use "there", the noun, it reduces impact. Grammar does matter when conveying important thoughts.
Keep up the good work.
Keep after the Desteni cult!

Also, re; the Psychic Detective;are we sure she is "encouraging" fraud, and not merely ignorant of the law? It doesn't seem she would have much to gain by encouraging this view.

I am a reader myself, and this was interesting, since I have apparently been breaking the law for nigh on 15 years now.I feel so edgy and outlaw-ish! :)
